| On the 7th of February it's time for NRJ Radio Awards 2001. |
|
NRJ Radio Awards was created as an award for the artists played on NRJ, but also because NRJ wanted to give something extra back to its listeners.
NRJ Radio Awards is an annual event and was first arranged in Sweden 1999 on Cirkus in Stockholm. Last year, among many more, Melanie C, Enrique Iglesias, Geri Halliwell, A-Teens, Petter, Eric Gadd and Bloodhound Gang performed on stage.
As for NRJ Radio Awards 2001 they have made it an Nordic event. NRJ stations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland all participate with inputs for nominations, participate in the voting and broadcast live.
NRJ Radio Awards 2001 will be held in newbuilt Heron City at Kungens Kurva, outside of Stockholm. More than 3000 guests split on four floors will see the event on stage. If you cannot come, you can watch the events on Kanal 5 at 20.00 February 7th.
A-Teens are nominated as "Best Swedish Group", and they will also perform live on stage.
