| The success goes on in the U.S. even though A-Teens leave the ABBA songs. |

After 3 weeks in stores, the new single "Bouncing off the Ceiling (Upside Down)" is the 12th most sold single in the U.S. right now.
Billboard Singles Sales Chart reports every week what singles is sold the most to the american consumers, and this week A-Teens are #12.
To enter the Billboard Top 100 chart, the single must be frequently played on the radio. "Bouncing off the Ceiling (Upside Down)" is not yet released to the american radio stations. The single is released for radio play in February.
The debut album "The ABBA Generation" has been sold in 700.000 copies, only in the U.S. and more than 3.000.000 copies has been sold world wide.
The previous USA single "Dancing Queen" has been sold in more than 500.000 copies in the U.S. The expectations for the new album are high, as the new single "Bouncing..." has broken the "Dancing Queen" record in less than 3 weeks.
The success also goes on in Europe. In Germany, "Upside Down" is #18 on the official single chart. In Sweden the single is close to 2x platinum (60.000 sold copies). Next up is England.
A-Teens are currently on a well-earned vaccation before the rehearsals for the upcoming promotion tour and later world tour. |
