It all started in May 1999, when The A-Teens' first single, Mamma Mia, went straight to No. 1 on the charts in their home country of Sweden. In the just over two years since, the band has sold more than five million copies of Teen Spirit and The Abba Generation across the world, including 1.5 million here in the U.S.
Hits like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Upside Down, and Halfway Around The World have taken the band to every corner of the globe, from Tokyo to Los Angeles, from Singapore to Berlin. There's no doubt about it: the A-Teens are one of the biggest teen groups in the world. The group continues to have multiple charted records on Radio Disney along with continuous appearances on the Nickelodeon network.
In 2001, the A-Teens toured the U.S. from July through to September on their co-headlining tour with Aaron Carter. In November, the A-Teens will return to the U.S. for tour that will have them perform in every major market in the country.
