Soundcheck by the ice. Wow A*teens are doing their own in ear mixes!!! *s* |
| Ok here we go now I actually have stuff to tell. Yesterday we had our first working day in Malaysia. |
Sara arrived at the meet and greet we did by the mall. I was alot of fun, People are so nice and there is alot of people that know of us even though we have never been here before. And then after that we went in and had a soundcheck on the iceskating rink. That was exciting but it was still our second time, we did another ice skating rink in Seattle, the Key Arena. And we did ok in until we realised that the PA didnt really work, so we gathered a big cowd with people looking at us just hearing the insturmental version of our songs... So we went back to the hotel and didnt know weather it would work or not, until Damien (our sound guy) called us and said that it worked they had just hooked it up wrong. THAT was a relief!! So we got back to the hotel and made ourselves ready, and then a TV interview with MTV Asia for varius shows and then we were off to the show. It was a good show for us. The coolest thing though was that we got to give prizes to 5 groups of kids that had prepared iceskating routines to our songs... It was great!!! They were so qute, and actually really good!
Then today we had alot of interviews during the entire day, it was alot of fun especially the last interview with Disneychannel down here the guy presenting Jen was hilarius he was making fun of us and we of him and eachother and it was very messy, when we finally finished we were sweating! Among other things except for doing our impresions of our favourite disney characters (Marie did pigglet; I did the genie in Aladdin; Sara did Beauty AND the Beast; and Dhani did Tarzan; well it was pretty wild) and we sang in 10 different "languages" well it was serious in the begining but when we came to asian music and chinese, it for some reason just became.... hmm... lets say wierd.
